They look better than they work These boxes seemed like a good idea at the time, so I ordered two. They are big enough to contain a lot of ornaments, yet small enough to fit in a closet that is not very spacious. They also look pretty spiffy. Well, well. Not what I expected but I will make do with it for now. I had read a review about how this one had a good lid that stayed on better than another. There is not much to choose from here on Amazon. I know I could come up with a better product than this if I tried. It would be more expensive but it would work well. First off, I found and read the underside of the insert to see what I was supposed to have and how to assemble. Not flimsy – work great I spent a lot of time researching boxes for Christmas ornaments. I have something like this, but it is a single layer – about 3 feet by 2 feet. The problem is the top isn’t secure on the ones I have – so tipping the box results in broken ornaments. These are way more secure. The top comes off easily, but the box itself is not flimsy. I am going to run a ribbon thru the handles and around the box to make sure the top stays on (and I won’t trust my husband with the ornaments again).
