  1. A solid microphone for a great price This a professional microphone for a low, low price. They come well paked. I really like that it’s heavy but not that heavy, they feel solid.I used them in a school activity and didn’t have to control the mixer at any time for fidelity or feedbacks. It comes with a 15 feet of cable, the cable doesn’t look or feel pro but they do the job. Also the upper mesh head is solid steal like material. I think I’ll have a microphone for a long time.

  2. Good for live situations, or if you have a good preamp Originally I had this microphone rated 3 stars, commenting that it’s alright for live situations, and also citing that I tested it with three separate audio DACs and a PA system, all of which produced the same undertone crackle and hiss. I’ve since had the chance to try it on a fourth DAC, the Yamaha MG10XU mixer, and I have to say, I was blown away. It ACTUALLY sounds really good through the Yamaha D-PRE preamps.Honestly, the only thing I can come up with is that I was dealing with ground loop feedback. The other interfaces I tested were USB power only, where the MG10XU has its own separate power, so that may have a lot to do with it. Whatever the case I now have a decent sounding dynamic mic for when my LDC is just too sensitive.

  3. Great sound quality with a big caveat, atrocious build quality Sound quality is incredible for the price, but only so long as it and its stand are not touched or even slightly vibrated. For my use case, I have this hooked up to my computer through an XLR-USB adapter and on a desktop stand. Without putting a piece of cardboard under the stand, just the act of typing on my keyboard transfers enough vibration for each keystroke to be audible as a bassy boom. When handheld, the slightest movement of the holding hand will be audibly picked up as well. But with placed on a stand and not touched, sound quality is unbelievably good for this low of a price. Without any equalization or post-processing applied, a friend of mine who does professional sound work describes it as adequate, but he’d never use it because of the handling noise and build quality issues.Build quality is exactly what you’d expect of something this cheap. This shipped to me with one of the wires not properly soldered and I had to fix it myself. Soon after, the paint…
