MEH. Closer to a dark roast than it is to a medium I really tried to like this coffee. Brewed various cups with different grind settings, water temps, and even different pour overs. Couldn’t find a cup that even remotely liked. Kinda bummed because now I have this huge bag of coffee going to waste. I’m sure some people will enjoy it… but for me, not what I was looking for. I suppose the bright side is that you get a lot of coffee for your money? *shrug**Update* The company reached out to me to offer a full refund…

Great coffee backed by impressive customer service I was drinking 100% Kona coffee for a while (and, yes, paying for it), but then moved someplace where the price would have been astronomical, so I had to change brands. I gave “Real Good Coffee” a try. When I first received it, I thought “uh oh.” The beans were really dark and almost greasy-looking (the beans DO get a little more stuck in my coffee grinder, but that’s really no big deal). If you like coffees from Ritual Bought the light roast. I’m a NYC black coffee snob so you can take or leave my opinion. If you like coffees from Ritual, Stumptown, and Intelligensia like I do and you are buying this (because you are trying to be budget conscious) then you aren’t expecting much.
