Possible fake in 2017 look carefully at packaging Back in January, I was looking for a new sunscreen and purchased several brands from Amazon/Amazon marketplace. I got around to trying this one last month and I liked it in spite of its being maybe a little thick. Yesterday, I went to my dermatologist and they were having a small sale so I purchased another tube as back up. When I got home I noticed that the tubes were slightly different sizes so I contacted Revision and asked if they had made any changes in their packaging over the last year and they said no they have made zero changes.Also the expiration dates are only a month apart so old stock wouldn’t seem to be the issue.So here’s the scoop. As others have stated the possible fake product is just a little bit darker and just a little bit thicker. Surprisingly, the two products smell identical to me. Yeah…not so sure about this one I have been using Intellishade as my foundation for about 5-6 years. I used to work in a dermatologist office so I would buy it there with a discount. Since leaving that job, I have purchased the product from Amazon. It has always been great and I have never smelled a rat until this last purchase. I immediately felt like the tube and the cap didn’t look quite right. Then the product doesn’t come out well, the hole is too small. Finally, I noticed the writing on the tube is pretty off center. I admit I cannot tell a huge difference with the product itself but the texture seems a little off. It is not so bad that I won’t use it but I really wonder on this one. Revision’s site is very clear that they do not authorize products sold on Amazon. I’m gonna have to fork up the money at the seem office next time.
Great Foundation that makes me look terrific for my age! I’ve been using this foundation for about 8 years. I love it. Dust a little powder over it and it’s good to go…makes this mature lady’s face look smooth, young, and healthy. When you hit the age of 61 and can get all of that out of one product it’s a home run!!!!! Highly recommend! It simply blends into your existing skin tone!
