Series 2 not as good as series 1. Material is very thin, 2 breaks in 2 months. *Updated* I bought the first series and loved them. I travel a ton and the old ones were looking pretty rough due to stickers airlines and hotel use (with superglue?). the strong chemical smell was terrible. I have had a set of Samsonite suitcases which were solid, well made and lasted years. When I saw these offered, I decided that I could use a set of well made luggage. When I received them and unpacked them, the strong chemical odor was not pleasant at all. Inside each of the cases were just as bad, if not worse.
