I called tech support and was told when viewing on a PC there was nothing I could do to remove the advertising. HDCP Problems with HDMI Doesn’t work with Comcast equipment when running HDMI because of HDCP. Returned it for the 350, picked up an HDMI splitter that handles HDCP and an HDMI to Component and still spent less than the 500.
Works great – but HDMI can be finicky, consider using component if you can. Purchased a “reconditioned” unit, looks and works just like brand new.
