Rarely does a product impress me this much! Holy crap, where to begin.First of all … setup is ridiculously easy. Literally took me 10 minutes to setup a Play3 and a Play1, download the app to my iPad and have music streaming through my home. And when I downloaded the app to my iPhone later, it found my Sonos system, connected, and brought me right to the playlist I had paused.Secondly, the sound is amazing. I have a reasonably expensive blue tooth speaker (I won’t say which one) that is good, but this blows…
Excellent as a stereo pair sounds fantastic as a stereo pair or as surround for a playbar – can’t really justify the price for playbar surrounds so I have them as a stereo pair in another room. A good step up from the play 1s with more bass and deeper sound profile – certainly the play 5s would expand on this further but I can get play 3s in a stereo pair for the price of one play 5 and the stereo pair sounds fantastic! Make sure you do the trueplay tuning – makes a big difference in sound quality.
Issues with iPhone music I give it a 3 stars as the sound on the Sonos speaker is great. The issue is with the functionality when playing my music on the iPhone. I bought my first Sonos speaker 2-3 years ago and didnât have any issues in the beginning. The last months I can rately hear one song to the end from my iPhone playlists. The Sonos App skips or stops the song in the middle. It can take a few minutes and then starts another song. Itâs become very annoying. They need to fix the functionality for the iPhone music…
