Decreased quality over the years. Every year my wife and I get another Swarovski Star. This tradition goes back over two decades now. We place them on our Christmas tree. A lot of memories flood back just looking at them.But, the stars are changing. The thickness is not there. The crystal does not have the depth, color, fire or flare. If we line the crystals up year by year it seems about 5 years ago the quality started downhill. The stems are thinner. The entire crystal is thinner.I know there are cheap knock offs…
Not disappointing. I’ve brought the Annual Edition Snowflake every year my fiancée and I have been together. I always think it looks like the previous year until I get them all out and see how different they truly are. The quality has been upkept from year to year. Arrived packaged well. I recommend

I buy 1 large and 1 small, and she gets them with Christmas presents.The 25th anniversary Is larger than the regular snowflakes, as others have mentioned. It has some kind of special rainbow/prism coating that really makes it pop. All in all, well worth the premium.
