A Must for Hardcore Oils Fans I’ve been an Oils fan for a long, long time (I really discovered them with “Beds Are Burning” just like everyone else in the US, but had already been exposed to “Power and the Passion” thanks to early 80s “modern rock” radio). The rest is history – I think I owned everything featured here at one point (on CD, but not on vinyl), participated in a pre-WWW Compuserve discussion board (anyone remember “Powderworks?”) and waited breathlessly for every new release. The Vinyl Oils Set is Out! Received this set with baited breath…… All the LPs are flat and quiet, the music jumps out at me, the covers are quality. Kind of pricey but the set sounds real good! One LP had a couple clicks but no skips. The other 13 were dead quiet. Love Midnight Oil! If you are a fan this is a no brainer if you have the cash! Update 5/28/18 I see the price has dropped $160 since I bought it! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Still enjoy this set very much!
