Most recent models develop significant paper feed problems within months. BEWARE – I have used the 3125 and its predecessors for many years. Historically they have been stable and very functional scanners, especially for under $350. HOWEVER… We have purchased 6-8 of these in the last 18 months. Every one of them from these batches has had significant paper feed issues within 3 -6 months or less. Not so good…. The software is clunky and very slow. The “one-touch” is ridiculously annoying to use. The scan speed is not that good. I have bought 7 other Fuji ScanSnap’s and there is NO competition between the two items. I even had our offsite IT Hosting company evaluate the Xerox–he said that its ridiculous and not well suited for what we need it for. This does the job but is not as user friendly as the fujitsu scansnap I bought this – it works OK but if your in the market for a great scanner pay the extra $50 bucks and get the fujitsu scansnap does the job but is not as user friendly… I have had two fujitsu scansnap and they are awesome.
