It does not have sides so have to make your own or take ornaments before taking out the next layer. I bought both the plastic one and this one. I loved the fabric but wished it had sides so when you lift out the ornaments they don’t go everywhere. However, I used the box it was delivered in and made sides for each layer using the clear packaging tape and it works great.
lightweight and holds all my ornaments This item saves space in storage, all my ornaments, whether they are oddly shaped or round, fit into this box. With a piece of tissue paper between items, I could also store more than one item in space. Disadvantage is you must totally empty the ornaments from storage to find the correct sizes for your tree branches. I did put small items in one box and larger in another so it isn’t a problem for me, but if you use one box it could be an issue for you.
A lot of storage for the size It is very compact and will be perfect for storing ornaments. I hot glued the dividers together so they don’t have to be put back together each time you take them out. Obviously I haven’t used it for ornament storage yet, but it looks like it will be perfect for those ornaments that didn’t come already boxed. I am sure I will wonder why I didn’t order one of these years ago.
