Lasted 16 months before rusting out. I purchased this based on a review I read here.It cost much more than needed to make a cup of coffee but the review of the quality convinced me it was worth it. I loved it and was happy with the purchase for 16 months. During that time I paid an additional 7.40 for recommended cleaner and 10.00 for a new water filter. Still happy.
