MARIETTA, Ga. — A Veteran’s clinic in Marietta is temporarily closed due to flooding that was reported on Monday, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
According to the U.S. VA, the Atlanta VA Health Care System notified the property owner of the West Cobb VA Clinic, located at 333 Midway Road about the issue.
The property owner, according to the US VA, will work to repair and resolve the damage sustained from the flooding at the clinic. They will also be in contact with VA leadership regarding when the property can reopen for patient care.
Patients of the clinic are being contacted by Atlanta VA schedulers to convert appointments to virtual modalities, offer in-person appointments at an alternate location, or reschedule appointments.
