The Winter Games continue for Day 14 in Italy, with multiple medal events, plus the men’s hockey semifinals, where the United States team faces off against Slovakia.
MILAN, Italy — Men’s hockey is heating up in Italy. On Friday, the U.S. team faces off against Slovakia, and Canada plays Finland, in the tournament’s semifinals at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
Medals will be awarded for the following events: Freestyle skiing, women’s ski cross; freestyle skiing, men’s aerials, biathlon, men’s 15km mass start; speed skating, women’s 1500m; men’s curling; freestyle skiing, men’s freeski halfpipe; short track, men’s 5000m relay, and short track, women’s 1500m.
At least two events in Livigno, where the snowboard and several freestyle ski events are being held, were rescheduled to Friday due to poor weather conditions Thursday.
