A man in Arkansas is celebrating greeting the new year for the 108th time.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — One family is spending their New Year’s Eve celebrating their loved ones.
Jarmel Alexander says his grandfather was in a serious car accident that broke his hip at 99 years old. But today, he lives to be 108 years old.
The family says instead of putting him in a nursing home, they’ve managed to provide home care.
So far, they say the only drawback is that they weren’t able to update the man’s license.
Alexander says his grandfather lived a meaningful life, spending most of it in Little Rock, working as a postal employee and, at one point, an entrepreneur.
