WASHINGTON — With awards campaigns in full swing, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is preparing to reveal which films, performances and creatives will compete for Hollywood’s biggest honor.
Nominations for the 98th Academy Awards will be announced Thursday morning, setting the stage for the final stretch of awards season.
This year’s ceremony will honor achievements across 24 categories, with most categories featuring five nominees. Best Picture remains the exception, with up to 10 films competing for the top prize.
