Taylor Lautner and his wife Tay expecting their first child

WASHINGTON — Taylor Lautner and his wife, who is also named Taylor, are expecting their first baby. 

Lautner and his wife shared the news on Thursday. In a series of photos, the Lautners are seen sitting, dancing and showing off photos of their sonograms in a field. 

“What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?🤍,” the Instagram post said. 

Congratulations quickly poured in the comments, including some from “Twilight” stars. 

“Oh my goodness🥹❤️ heart bursting. I love you guys. I can’t wait to watch your journey as parents unfold…,” Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie Hale in the “Twilight” movie franchise, commented. 

“YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BE THE BEST PARENTS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” “Bachelor” lead and “Dancing with the Stars” winner Joey Graziadei said in the comments. 

Lautner, 34, tied the knot with Tay in November 2022, a year after he proposed to her. Tay, whose maiden was Dome, took the “Twilight” actor’s last name, resulting in two Taylor Lautners.

Lautner explained the name conundrum in 2023 on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” explaining that he goes by Taylor and she goes by Tay.

“Or a lot of people just do boy Tay and girl Tay,” he told Clarkson at the time. “Either Taylor and Tay — or boy Tay, girl Tay — works.”

In the same interview, he explained how the pair met after his sister, Makena Moore, introduced them to each other during a game night. 

Since the pair tied the knot, the two have started a podcast called “The Squeeze,” where they interview celebrities and talk about mental health.
