Bahama Breeze to shutter all restaurants after 30 years

ORLANDO, Fla. — Bahama Breeze, a Caribbean-themed casual-dining chain, announced it will close their doors after 30 years in business.

On Tuesday, their parent company, Darden Restaurants, announced that 14 Bahama Breeze restaurants would close permanently across nine states and that the company would convert the remaining 14 locations into other Darden brand restaurants.

The company anticipates converting the remaining restaurants within the next 12-18 months. Darden did not disclose which specific brands these locations will be converted to, but other Darden brands include Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Yard House, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.
