ATLANTA, GA – July 31, 2019 – What happens when you mix white rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, heavy cream, and crushed ice in a blender? Heaven on earth for your taste buds –a piña colada! This delicious drink was created at the fabulous beachside resort Caribe Hilton in 1954 by Monchito Marrero. Today we sipped this delight at El Super Pan located at The Battery in Suntrust Park, while enjoying an authentic Puerto Rican lunch and live bongo playing.

The selection at El Super Pan at the Battery Suntrust Park is fantastic! Authentic Puerto Rican food at it’s finest. My favorite dish was the pork shoulder with mojo sauce.
It was wonderful to hear about the renovation of the Caribe Hilton and how the General Manager was so dedicated to his employees – making sure they were informed about all aspects of the hotel renovation project and when they would be able to get back to work after the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
I can’t wait to visit the Caribe Hilton and see what the multi-million dollar renovation looks like! It was amazing before, so I can only imagine that the hotel is everything a guest would want on the lovely island of Puerto Rico and more.
