The competition series will host a three-day “DWTS” convention this summer, featuring performances, panels and celebrity appearances.
WASHINGTON — “Dancing with the Stars” is bringing the ballroom to fans in a whole new way.
The ABC competition series announced Tuesday that it will host its first-ever fan convention and live show, a three-day event set happening this summer in Palm Springs, California. The announcement was made on “Good Morning America.”
The event, called “DWTS” Con, comes after a milestone season for the franchise. The show recently marked 20 years on air, and Season 34 became its most-watched season in several years, including the most-watched finale in a decade.
The convention is set to be an immersive weekend built around the same energy and spectacle that fans see on TV each week. The schedule includes live dance performances, behind-the-scenes panels, Q&A sessions, interactive photo opportunities, exhibits and exclusive merchandise.
“DWTS” Con will be held at Acrisure Arena from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026.
A large group of professional dancers, Mirrorball champions and celebrity contestants have already been announced, though organizers noted talent is subject to change.
Pros expected to appear include Brandon Armstrong, Lindsay Arnold, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa and Britt Stewart.
Celebrity winners and fan-favorites announced so far include Hannah Brown, Danielle Fishel, Xochitl Gomez, Joey Graziadei, Elaine Hendrix, Rashad Jennings, Amanda Kloots, Phaedra Parks, JoJo Siwa, Johnny Weir, Rumer Willis, Kristi Yamaguchi and Ginger Zee. Judge Bruno Tonioli will also attend, with more names expected to be added later.
Saturday night will feature a live dance performance directed by choreographer Mandy Moore. The weekend will also include a matinee performance on Sunday, along with additional panels and a farewell event.
How to get tickets to “DWTS” Con
Tickets will be sold through multiple presales before the general sale opens Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. PT on the “DWTS” Con website. Verizon and Mirrorball Member presales begin Thursday, Feb. 12. VIP packages and hotel travel discounts will also be available.
