From grief to growth, the Love Is Blind star creates space for healing, creativity, and community through her first foundation event.
ATLANTA — Reality TV star, new mom, and entrepreneur Lauren Speed-Hamilton is stepping into a powerful new chapter, launching her non-profit, the Eddie-Mae Robbie Foundation.
The foundation, named in honor of her grandmother, was born following a deeply personal season in Speed-Hamilton’s life. The Detroit native, who now calls Atlanta home, is navigating the recent loss of her father while also welcoming her first child. That duality of loss and new life became the catalyst for creating something bigger than herself, a space designed to support others through wellness, mental health, creativity, and financial literacy.
Her first event, Creative Reset, presented a safe and reflective gathering for women creatives, entrepreneurs, writers, and artists balancing burnout, pressure, and evolving identities.
Rather than a formal panel, the experience centered on open, honest conversation, guided by a mental health expert, encouraging vulnerability and connection.
The Eddie-Mae Robbie Foundation aims to uplift underserved communities by providing access to resources that support mental health, artistic expression, and economic empowerment. Speed-Hamilton said these areas are often overlooked but deeply needed.
Known to many from “Love Is Blind,” alongside her husband Cameron Hamilton, Speed-Hamilton is now using her platform to build something lasting, turning personal healing into a pathway for others to find their own.
