Trainor said she needs to focus on her “growing family,” after welcoming her third child in January.

WASHINGTON — Meghan Trainor announced on Thursday that she’s canceling her “Get In Girl” tour, two months before she was scheduled to hit the road.

The 33-year-old singer shared the update on Instagram, saying the decision took “a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations.”

“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time,” she said in the post.

She said she knows the announcement will disappoint her fans.

“I am so sorry to let you down,” she said. “But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your live and support always.”

Trainor was set to kick off her 32-date “Get In Girl” tour on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan. Her last stop on the tour was going to be on Aug. 15 in Inglewood, California.

In January, Trainor welcomed her third child with Daryl Sabara. She and her husband revealed that they used a surrogate for the latest addition to their family. Trainor and Sabara wed in 2018 and are also parents to two young sons.

Her seventh studio album, “Toy With Me,” is set to release on April 24.
