Riverwood International Charter School has gone to remote learning on Tuesday after facilities issues.
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A charter high school in Sandy Springs is going to remote learning on Tuesday after a “significant sewage blockage.”
Riverwood International Charter School said on Facebook that the blockage “requires immediate attention” and that the school would close for in-person learning. After school activities and sports are also canceled.
“Students will participate in remote learning from home and should follow instructions provided by their teachers regarding assignments and expectations for the day,” the Facebook message said. “Teachers will communicate with students through Canvas.”
The school added its maintenance team is “working diligently to resolve the issue, and we will keep you informed regarding the status of the building.”
There was no immediate indication on whether the repairs might cause issues for Wednesday.
