The change will go into effect on Thursday, April 9 for all reservations made on or after that date, according to a press release. Those with reservations already booked will not be affected unless the flight is voluntarily changed.
List Preferred and Choice Extra customers will not be affected and continue to receive two free checked bags.
A List and Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers will also continue to receive their first checked bag free.
There will be no change for active-duty military members regarding checked bag benefits.
