Works great but not ideal PROS: These work great as an outlet that can be used in conjunction with the free app to turn outlets on or off. The app is pretty easy to use. You can control each plug individually or set them together in groups. I’m sure you can do a timer function also but I have not needed this. I think for the price, these are a good value if you want remote control of your outlets.CONS: The design is not the greatest. I think they would have been better off with a square design, since some of my square phones chargers can NOT fit in the outlet above or below this device. My biggest problem with these though, is that they stick out way too far from the wall once you have something plugged in to them. 3 of the 4 that I wanted to use are behind furniture, and I had to move the furniture out away from the wall even further to be able to use these. I decided to purchase a slim profile extension cord instead and then plug them into the extension cord so I could move my furniture back…
Easy to set up. The plugs work great with google home or echo dot. Set up is easy and done in a few minutes. After I purchased my first set, I liked them so much I ordered a second set.
easiest setup ever! Already had the Smart Life app installed so setup was a breeze. Plugged them in and they were already in setup mode, clicked on the add icon and in my case the wifi password was already filled in so just continued. Connected in a few seconds and completed install a little later. Alex app automatically discovered them so could NOT be easier!
