Don’t buy this package! Two out of the three were bad. The three cartridges were packed in plain white boxes with just a little hp trademark. Possibly counterfeit? Both the blue and the yellow cartridges were bad – streaking different colors other than the chosen colors on top and the bottom of my printouts in both landscape and portrait mode. I returned the blue one a few weeks ago and will be returning the yellow one tomorrow.
Wrong Cartridge in Box I opened what I thought was a brand new cyan cartridge. The inside plastic packaging was torn and held a black, not cyan, cartridge. There was nothing wrong with the outside cardboard packaging so I canât figure out how this happened. A replacement will be here the day before the meeting for which Iâm making handouts so Iâll either need to drive 120 miles round trip to an office supply store or spend the day before the printing, printing, printing. Iâm very disappointed.
Counterfeit cartridges in my order I just opened the 3 pack I purchased in August. The yellow cartridge is in a plain white box and is marked 201X. I had to pry the box open with a screwdriver because the “zip” open part is glued shut. The plastic “case” that the cartridge comes in was open, and hand written on it was “yellow”. I put it in my machine and the printer started throwing errors, “warning, used or counterfeit”. It works, but I’m worried. I took it out and it’s only a 201A, not a 201X. I paid for 201X!!! Now I…
