  1. Love This Matcha! I just recently took the plunge and spent the money on this Organic Ceremonial grade Matcha by Matcha Konomi. For the last year I’ve been making Bulletproof Matcha every day at home, using some significantly cheaper Organic “Culinary” grade Matcha. I was finally educated about the quality difference between Culinary grade and Ceremonial grade by a friend of mine.I was honestly shocked when I was introduced to Ceremonial grade Matcha. Ceremonial grade Matcha has no bitterness – whereas my Organic Culinary Matcha has a strong bitter seaweed taste / smell. The taste and flavor is clean on the palette, and its effects on me energetically are quite palpable. It was a significant difference between the two, so I have decided to buy a 1lb bag of this Akira Organic Matcha by Matcha Konomi via their website, as I go through ridiculous amounts of Matcha, and this tiny 30g tin could probably last me about a week to 10 days.I have been a Puerh drinker for many…

  2. This AKIRA matcha the first time to me to feel great taste with US company’s Matcha I am a Japanese tea ceremony instructor in NY and NJ. I usually buy match form a very well known tea company in Kyoto. This AKIRA matcha the first time to me to feel great taste with US company’s Matcha ! This is high quality, organic and a beautiful package. I would recommend to my students and friends! Ans I love the name “AKIRA”.

  3. Love my Matcha! I absolutely LOVE all the matcha from Matcha Konomi. I’ve bought this product in my local stores and online, and I truly prefer this one as to other matchas. When you open it up, it is naturally brighter than most other matchas I’ve purchased on Amazon. The taste is also a bit sweeter than others. The drink gives me energy, but not like a twitching, over-excited energy like energy drinks give me. I keep this matcha in the fridge, so it will last longer.Sometimes, I make a simple matcha latte using almond milk and the matcha in a single serve blender. Often, I use it in the morning after I workout. I simply put almond milk, a scoop of protein powder, and the matcha in a blender bottle and shake. It blends well and complements my (vanilla or chocolate or cookies n creme) protein powder perfectly.
