  1. Don’t order different amounts of the same gift card I ordered 20 Amazon gift cards as gifts for teachers and coaches. I ordered the same gift card (snowman on front) for 19 of the 20 gift cards. They were thrown together in a box. Silly me. I actually thought Amazon would label the amounts on the gift cards. Nope. Some gift cards I bought are for $10 or $20 or $30 or $50. Now, I have to look at the serial number on the back of each card to match it up to my packing list to figure out how much the card is worth so my kids give it to the right teacher. What a waste of my time! Amazon is all about customer service, but this is far from good customer service.

  2. Amazon screwed up. Just give cash. This isn’t worth it. Amazon kept screwing with my codes and I lost my families Christmas gifts because of it. Just give people cash. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it more than you telling them, ‘I’m sorry, amazon made a mistake and your gift card is invalid, throw it out. Sorry you have no gift and I can’t afford another.’

  3. Santa tin was damaged I ordered three gift cards for my nieces and nephews for Christmas. One of the Santa tins was damaged so I will have to remove the gift card and put it in a card. I will have to explain to one of them why they did not get a Santa tin like their siblings. Very awkward. All I wanted was to get a new Santa Tin but apparently that was not an option. Buyer beware! Very poor protection by the shipping department
