Pretty Good For Minimal Coverage I like a foundation that has minimal coverage but can be layered when needed. This is perfect for that.I don’t enjoy wearing a lot of makeup so I like that I can apply a layer of this for an everyday/natural look. If I’m going out or my acne is especially bad (curse you adult acne), then I’ll let the first layer dry and then apply some more. It builds quite nicely. The only thing is that you have to make sure to apply it thoroughly because it will leave lines otherwise. I rub it in, let it dry, and then set it with some loose powder.
Best Product I’ve Tried I’m currently in Kuwait, where it is 121 degrees Fahrenheit and extremely windy and sunny, and this product is SAVING MY LIFE! I am super fair skinned (Irish) and the sun here is unforgiving, to say the least. This product is super light and hydrating, and also offers awesome sun protection. It is perfect for doing a “no make up” look (obvious make up in uniform is frowned up in the military) and a little bit goes a long way for color correction. The product doesn’t cake up and other products I’ve used in this area tend to catch sand during dust storms. It is expensive for it’s size, but worth every penny in my opinion. I wish I could subscribe to have this product sent to me every two months!
My makeup routine in a bottle! While my acne has been better in the past year than basically my whole life, I still have spots every day and this really does help cover them up. I love that this has SPF in it or I would never have any protection. I tried this on and bought my first one in the store and have been buying online every sense as it’s easier and cheaper. It does leave you shiny so I use a simple finishing powder to take it away. I never used the ones that came in the Bare Minerals powder kit so I have plenty of those lying around to get me by for a bit. This, for me, is very useful in evening out my skin tone but don’t expect this to completely cover up everything – you’ll need something made for spot coverups for that.
