Slick, discrete unit, easy set-up, flawless app Been keeping tabs on my home while out of state via iPhone. Working great for about a month now. The time-stamped recorded files are easy to remotely access, zoom in on or delete. I was worried when I updated the iPhone and loss the connection which had allowed me to view (although the motion alerts kept arriving and the recording still continued) I thought I might have to fly back just to reset, but the connection finally returned on its own about five days later. The very helpful product service person I called (no charge) recommended not taking the chance of doing updates until you were close enough to reset physically if necessary.

Very impressive home surveillance camera which can integrate into the larger Panasonic home control scheme Sophisticated and polished. Quite small and rather heavy. Packaging is beautifully designed (see photos). Eco-friendly packaging (no styrofoam) protects the camera unit, a power unit, a quick-start guide and a fat and thorough instruction booklet. Setup via 5GHz WiFi was painless, first downloading the control app, then waiting for the camera to sniff out the WiFi network and then pushing one button — THAT’S ALL!Having had some adventures with not-so-well organized indoor camera apps, this was a pleasure. It doesn’t pan nor tilt, but the field of view is 142 degrees, more than ample to see an entire room. And it has a UV scheme built in if the lights are too low! It also features a simple but clever sliding plastic shield to block the view should you desire a little privacy. The base features mounting holes depending on where you want to park this camera. It blends in nicely, especially compared to some indoor cameras. This is apparently part of a Panasonic…

Not much more a home monitor camera can offer This is a great addition to a home security system or for simple home monitoring. Viewing remotely on a smartphone is easy. Plus, it can be integrated into Panasonic’s home security system to have recordings triggered by components other than the camera itself. The video quality is excellent. With the camera set to its higher resolutions, there may be a slight delay when watching on a phone cell-network. Our experience when at home, is that there is no delay at all. If your home or phone’s internet speed causes a delay on its way to your phone, you can reduce the camera’s resolution to speed things up. We’ve decided to leave ours at the crisp-clear high resolution— it seems too sharp to give up over a slight delay in seeing it from the phone. The camera is loaded with accessory features. It can respond to motion or to sound, and report the room’s temperature. Really nice info when away from home. The lens is very wide angle so that no panning…
