Delta teamed up with the American Cancer Society on Wednesday to raise $1.4 million with a jet pulling competition.
ATLANTA — Delta held its “Jet Drag” fundraiser on Wednesday, and Tom Brady touched down in Atlanta to be on hand for the festivities.
The “Jet Drag” event involves teams of 25 people pulling a jet 25 feet. Delta has been doing it since 2010.
There were more than 180 teams on hand Wednesday, raising $1.4 million for the American Cancer Society as of around noon.
Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, has been a Delta partner since 2023.

He spoke for a moment to reporters on hand, sharing his appreciation for the airline industry. He said his mom was a flight attendant and that, without a plane, there’d be no Tom Brady.
Participants, many of them cancer survivors themselves, spoke about how they were enjoying the event.
“I’m in the fight for myself. This year I celebrated 20 years cancer free, so I’m here to fight for that and for all of these (teammates) to show them that we can basically move any mountain,” one participant told 11Alive’s Sefenech Henok.
