A crash just before 8 a.m. has shut down I-575 SB in Cherokee County on the first day back to school from winter break.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A three-vehicle crash is causing delays on I-575 SB in Cherokee County on Tuesday morning. Holly Springs.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) reported the crash just before 8 a.m. in the Holly Springs area.
11Alive Traffic Anchor Rachel Cox-Rosen found it on a GDOT camera blocking both through lanes of I-575 SB about one mile before Sixes Road (Exit 11).
As of 8:40 a.m., all lanes are back open to traffic.
There is no word from authorities on any injuries or when the scene may clear. Stay here with 11Alive for updates.
