All lanes of I-285 EB are blocked just east of I-75, delaying both freeways.
COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Lanes along I-285 eastbound (Inner Loop) are shut down after Cobb County dispatch said a stalled vehicle resulted in a four-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before 6 a.m. on I-285 EB, just after I-75 (Exit 20).
Details about the crash are limited at this time. The crash prompted authorities to hold all lanes. Delays are forming on both the I-285 EB and on the I-75 ramps in both directions.
As of 6:50 a.m., the left lanes are back open to traffic.
Traffic Anchor Rachel Cox-Rose is informing drivers to head over to either Interstate North Parkway or Akers Mill Road and then re-enter I-285 EB via New Northside Dr.
There is no word when I-285 EB will reopen.
