
ATLANTA — Georgia’s Department of Agriculture on Wednesday announced a voluntary recall of pecan log roll snacks due to a labeling error.
The state Department of Agriculture in a release described the recall impacting Stuckey’s “Cherry Pecan Log Roll” products that had been mislabeled and packaged as the “Original Pecan Log Roll” variety.

According to the state, the products were distributed across numerous states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.
“Protecting the safety and well-being of Georgians remains our top priority, and we are grateful the establishment pro-actively alerted us to the potential issue so we could take corrective action,” said Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper in a statement. “Our food safety team works with state, federal, and industry partners to identify potential risks, respond swiftly when issues arise, and ensure that products on store shelves are safe, wholesome, and held to the highest standards.”
