Converter Mode– 2-Pin Socket: Designed for all branded hair dryer and Conair Hair Straightener, Conair Flat Iron, Conair Curling Iron.

Note:
1, Converter Mode can only be used in the countries adopting voltage 220-240V and your appliances’ power rating should be 100-120V.
2, Converter Mode can set down voltage set down 220-240V to 100-120V, can’t boost the voltage to higher level.
3, The Converter can’t be used with low-wattage appliances (0-25W).
4, Dual voltage (100-240V) appliance can’t be used with the converter mode.
5, Converter Mode can only be used withMechanical Controlleddevices that have a power rating from 26~2000W. Do not use converter withelectronic-controlleddevices, except Conair Hair Straightener, Conair Flat Iron, Conair Curling Iron.
What is the difference between Mechanical Controlled devices and Electronic Controlled devices
Mechanical controlled devices are controlled byMechanical Buttons or Knob, Such as Hair Dryer, Blow Dryer
Electronic Controlled devices are controlled bySMART CHIP, have auto -on/off ,timer, Touch Screen or pulse function.

Couldn’t be happier! Not only is this a great product, but the customer service of this seller is excellent!Before traveling to Scotland, I wanted more than one adapter in order to have enough options for my husband and I to plug in all of our devices. I bought a simple, cheaper adapter for him from another company and this one for myself, so that I could use my hair dryer as well as plugging in my phone and laptop. It turned out the USB ports on the other cheaper adapter did not work at all. But this adapter and converter worked perfectly. In addition, it fit snuggly in the wall socket and our plugs fit snuggly into it, unlike the mushy, loose feel when trying to use the other device (and one I had previously purchased for an earlier overseas trip). I wish I had had one of these for each of us on our trip! I will be taking two of these when we return to Scotland.Here’s where customer service came in. Great item Just got back from europe where the converter for a workout. Used it for charging phones and tech and it was successful with my conair hair straighteners and blow dryers. Used several of the plug attachments. Everything was well made and problem free. Great item.
Good product I used this in UK with ease. It comes with a fabric bag that holds the plug and the various prong adapters.The two USB ports and the two different voltage electrical ports were very helpful. One was an AC Adapter 100-240V AC/10A Max., and the other was an AC Converter 220V to 110V.I used the usb ports to charge my iphone, battery charger and digital camera. With the electrical port I had to be very careful which one I used. The lower voltage worked perfectly with my Conair secret curl tool. However, I was a bit anxious when charging my laptop, I used the wrong port (adapter port) and heard a clicking so quickly unplugged it. When I used the other port (the converter) my laptop charged perfectly.Good product but need to read up on the differences on AC Adapter and AC Converter.
