Will never use another powder been using this one for over 4 years and this is my first review on it, should have earlier. I will NEVER use any other powder I use this to “bake” as they call it these days for setting my makeup. I get so many compliments on how flawless my face looks I even had someone ask me if I was even wearing makeup or if my skin was that flawless. You know if someone has to ask if you are wearing makeup or not then it’s fantastic because you don’t have that caked on makeup look. I’ve seen some women who “bake” and you can tell and see the caked on mess and discoloration as well…
Good finish, but is primarily talc, not rice It does do what it is supposed to, which is leave a matte finish to my skin. But, because I didn’t read far enough, I didn’t realize that the first ingredient is talc. Sigh. Rice starch is the third ingredient behind calcium carbonate, and for some reason, they have felt it necessary to add fragrance. It smells, to me, like baby powder. As I have this, I will use it up, but I will not buy again. Talc is not healthy for my skin as it can clog the pores. Time to make my own rice powder face…
Good product, awful packaging I give this product 3 stars because while the product itself looks nice, stays on well, and absorbs oil, the packaging is horrible. At first I thought it was fine, since I was only at home and leaving my makeup at home on a flat surface all day. But then taking it somewhere is a nightmare. The powder gets stuck in the box and completely cakes the sponge the product comes with. You have to be very careful when opening it, otherwise powder will spill.
