  1. Be warned this 2018 Edition has smaller battery Exactly the same as regular Segway MiniPro, just has a smaller battery. Works great, but will have less range, less run time than other model. I am returning for other edition. Why list as 2018 Edition and not explain that it’s not new and improved, only has a smaller battery?

  2. Warning–“2018 Edition” is a DOWNGRADE from the normal version, this is the MiniPro260 rather than the MiniPro320. I just bought a Segway MiniPro in a brick-and-mortar store rather than from Amazon after I learned that the “2018 Edition” means that it has a SMALLER battery capacity for a SHORTER range. I paid the same price in a store for the version with a 310-Watt-hour battery with a 14-mile range (the MiniPro320), rather than for this version, which has a 236-Watt-hour battery with a 12.5-mile range (the MiniPro260). As one approaches the device’s max speed the Segway automatically starts breaking and tilts backward slowing your speed by 30% or more. After it drops down to around 6 MPH it starts picking up speed again then immediately breaks itself back down to 6 MPH or so.
