GET RID OF UNWANTED HAIR I am a licensed electrologist, and although it is said that the only permanent method of hair removal is electrolysis, it is a more tedious procedure, and for me painful.The laser treatments in my opinion do work, but there’s one catch…Start if you can before any hairs turn white or gray. In essence if you are hairy when you’re young start using the laser. It does work as long as you keep up with treating the area.I started by going to a salon and having my chin and upper lip zapped. Initially it was painful but as the hairs started to diminish the pain was less and less. When I was through, I purchased my own in order to remove hair on my arms and legs. It definitely does work. Occasionally a few stragglers get through, but just take care of them.I wish I would have started before I began to get some gray hairs or tweezing.So finally if you have patience it does work!
Work in Progress It takes patience to see results. Directions say for the first 4 treatments to space them 2 weeks apart. (Thatâs 2 months total.) Then for treatments 5-7, these are spaced once every 4 weeks. (Thatâs 3 months total.) So overall treatment takes 5 months. â Then itâs recommend to touch up as needed after that.I got this for Christmas, so I just finished my 3rd treatment. #1 Dec. 26, #2 Jan. 9th, and #3 today, Jan. 24th.Results after #2 treatment: My legs look funny because patches of hair are taking to the treatment differently. There are patches of hair that are coming in finer and shorter. There are bald spots on my legs where the hair completely died off after just 2 treatments. Yay! Buy this now…It works! So, long story…basically I’m as hairy as a man, seriously, and had a full beard, mustache. I started laser treatments at our local hospital and did them religiously for about a year or so paying large amounts for each treatment. My daughter also has hair everywhere but more on her neck and chest area. She also started treatments at the hospital. The money was hurting badly but we loved the results. Then someone told us about their Silk’n machine and told me that she owned one and that it should maintain what we had started…..and upon research we saw that this one was new and that you never had to replace bulbs.
